Resumen
El siguiente artículo busca entender la formación de la militancia socialista, mediante la integración del enfoque de género, a partir del debate en torno a la muerte de Salvador Allende. Mi hipótesis plantea que una parte de la militancia socialista y su entorno familiar se niega a la tesis del suicidio de Allende porque esta acción no calzaría en el estándar de la masculinización de la política, que los socialistas venían desarrollando desde su constitución como colectividad. Para esto se analiza tres momentos: una primera parte se revisa el debate en torno a su muerte en clave asesinato; la segunda en clase suicidio y la tercera enfocada en mi propuesta en torno a las formas de entender las masculinidades en la militancia de los socialistas, en donde se integra Salvador Allende y otros dirigentes.

Abstract
The following article seeks to understand the formation of socialist militancy, through the integration of the gender theory, based on the debate about death of Salvador Allende. My hypothesis is that a part of the socialist militancy and their family rejects the thesis of Allende's suicide because this action would not fit the standard of the masculinization of politics, which the socialists had been developing since their constitution as a party. For this, three moments are analyzed: the first part reviews the debate around his death in terms of his murder; the second in suicide code and the third focused on my proposal around the ways of understanding masculinities in the militancy of the socialists, where Salvador Allende and other leaders are integrated.
